Statistics ideas

I'm thinking of doing something like this, maybe with a branches and a road way. I think it'll be pretty interesting, maybe have some little houses that have the number displaying the number. I'm probably gonna end up sketching this later today.

+778,000 ppl missing nationwide (2009)
  1.  80% of them under 18
  • 10% kidnapped 

  1.  8,202 cases were opened in NY alone (2008) 

  • nearly all children reported missing turned up soon
  • +187,800 missing children reports 
  •         > 175,200 children recovered
  • > +3.5 million telephone calls have been received by the hotline for lost kids

797,500 children under 18 reported in 1-year period
  1. 2,185 are reported missing each day
  2. >203,900 children were victims of family abduction
  3. >58,200 children were victims of of non family abduction
  4. >115 kids were victims of stereotypical kidnapping
since 1997- 2012
  1. > safe recovery of 572
