This is always something I hate doing, since it's forever just for it to convert from one file to another. Oh well, this is why I have Vegas movie studios on my laptop, for just the reason exactly. And I still have to learn how to use it a lot better.

Narrative the process and the birth of the idea

So me being someone who loves sitting up late at night reading scary stories until I'm too scared to even think about sleeping thought I could play off of that when I started making my narrative project. The story is called, I never believed in monsters. It's basically a short story about a girl who learns to believe in them after a reading a few stories about them.

Originally I was planning on modeling for theses pictures, having one of housemates or friends to help me create the story however it didn't go as planned as my friends either lived off-campus or were far too busy to help me with a few simple things, granted it's be expected when you're in an art school. So I decided to re-watch my narrative animation/ Animatic.

and decided to read the few fragments of my comic that were later misplaced to try and simplify my originally too big of a project. So as I was re-watching the animatic  I noticed ways on how I could draw fewer panels, and change up the angles to make the story flow better. Which is how I got to the beautiful start of more comic art.  In all honesty this is still a very large project but hey, either go big or go home as I like to say.

Let's talk about Memento

I have to say that I really enjoyed watching Memento, even if I had to sit down and watch it twice in parts. it was still a pretty cool movie. I also enjoyed having to read the the short story that memento was based off of, Memento Mori.

There was some really interesting things about memento that still have me kinda curious if Lenny is really just Sammy, since he seems to have memories of his wife being diabetic. Although, somehow he seems to forget it. I would think it would something that has to do with his mind slowing forgetting these simple facts and would explain why he had some memories of being in a mental hospital.

Idiom process and ideas

So this was probably one of the more strangest things I've made in a while. I was thinking on the concept of 'letting the cat out of the bag' so I started thinking about things that slip past us, mostly in ways that deal with money. Taxes being reprensted by the man in the suit. air fair for traveling, either it being business trips or family visits. All of it costs money. App games being another be one. I couldn't really think of any other candy crush that everyone just seems to waste their money on right now so I placed it in there.  Then of course money itself, we misplace money, we spend it on many things, digging through bags in search of it, sometimes causing it drop to the ground causing you to search for it. 

It's really kinda interesting with the concept of money having so much power yet none at all. 

spoof ad, process and idea

I decided to pull a joke and somewhat reference with one of consoles I know I'll probably end up buying sometime next year. The Xbox one. I was really interesting how that E3 conference originally the Xbox one was always suppose to be connected online and have it's web cam running. Kinda like in a big brother kinda way from 1984. Seeing as this joke didn't leave my head I decided, to make this reference and joke before it disappeared forever.

So right now, my storyboard/Comic draft page is completed now I'm going into the lineart process andthen from there into Grayscale/minor coloring.

Final project, concept sketches, and ideas

These are the characters I plan on using for my final project. I'm thinking of doing a digital comic using these characters. I should have the story board up later today. 

If I have enough time, I might add sound and animate it through iMovie
